After 14 years of our stewardship the Highlander is closing its doors on April 30th. Norma & Colin would like to thank all our friends for the great times we have had.
The highlander has been a ‘public’ house since the late 1800’s and certainly in our memory has been a place held in fond memory of all those who have enjoyed its unique charms.
The Highlander will be offered for sale. It deserves someone who will love it as we have done as a unique Manx experience. We feel it would best suit a chef / owner, someone with passion, flare and commitment who can continue its proud heritage.
If we are unable to find someone to cherish it as we have done we have plans to convert it to a residence with the best views of Greeba on the island.
Thanks again to everyone – we look forward to bumping into you in some other place of hospitality !
